Health & Wellness:

If you or someone you know needs help surviving Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault you can call DVSAS at 1−877-715-1563, or find support through their website:  https://www.dvsas.org/.

If your employment circumstances change you may be able to adjust your health care coverage: https://www.healthfinderwashington.org/.  And you may qualify for state health care through Community Health Plan of WA / Apple Health: https://www.chpw.org/.

The Bellingham School District has pulled together a number of mental health resources and guidelines for children and families located here: https://bellinghamschools.org/resources/mental-health/.

Help for Students:

A local Squalicum High School student has put together a website to help students prepare for college as they navigate at home learning:  https://www.coronaviruscollegeprep.com/.

Applying for Benefits:

Unemployment benefits can be accessed through:  https://esd.wa.gov/.

Gig workers / independent contractors may now be eligible for benefits, so do apply now or reopen your account to reapply for these new benefits. ESD also manages Paid Family & Medical Leave Benefits.
